In our Physical Chemistry department, we perform analyses for a wide variety of parameters, ranging from nutritional characterisation to the detection of specific contaminants. We are ENAC accredited under the UNE-EN ISO 17025 standard for more than 100 parameters, which supports the reliability of our results and guarantees compliance with the most demanding quality standards.
Chemical analysis of food can be approached from two perspectives: qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis establishes the chemical identity of the species in the sample. Quantitative analysis of food determines the numerical quantity of the different components that make up the food.
